WATTSTAX

mannn i love documentaries, esp about shit that fucking matter ya know. the other day i was watching the 1973 documentary directed by Mel Stuart. In August 1972, seven years after the Watts riots, the legendary Stax recording label staged a benefit concert in Los Angeles for 90,000 people. As time went by, it became known as the Black Woodstock.

maan these people are so powerful, so beautiful. i love black people, but not every black person. . . only the ones who fight to make themselvs better the ones that respect eachother, who respect their sistas not call 'em bitches. damn i wish i was born in the 60 70s where people respected eachother at least a little better than today.
